Don Giovanni Limoncello Liqueur, is handmade using locally sourced lemons from our citrus growing areas of Australia. As we source lemons across Australia and at different times of the year, our product may vary from time to time in colour density. Please be assured that we source a high quality fruit for our liqueurs.
The underlying taste will always reflect the unique taste of the traditional Sorento Lemon. Sorento lemons and the term we use to describe lemons that have a very thick and coarse skin.

Don Giovanni Mandarino, is handmade using locally sourced mandarin, however, unlike the Limoncello it has a short growing season and fruit is not available all year round so production is limited to availability.
The flavours extracted from the mandarin are richer and sweeter than Limoncello but equally as enjoyable.

Don Giovanni Blood Orange, is handmade using locally sourced Blood Oranges. The variety grown in Australia is from the Moro variety originally grown in Sicily. Blood Orange is not available all year round so production is limited to seasonal availability.

My father Umberto, was given home-made Limoncello from a dear family friend called Teresa. Teresa made an excellent Limoncello and everyone in the family enjoyed drinking it, but Teresa only produced enough for family and close friends.
This gave me the idea that Limoncello should be produced commercially, but maintaining the cottage, craft-style product was the key to delivering a perfect mass-produced product.
Don Giovanni Limoncello Liqueur should be served from the freezer.
Once you have taken your bottle home, place it in the freezer for 1-2 hours prior to drinking. Don Giovanni should be served in a shot-style glass. After pouring, place the bottle back in the freezer to have it ready for next time.
There is no need to pour over ice if served from the freezer.
