A refreshing Australian twist on the Scofflaw, this drink is the perfect balance of sweetness and tartness.
Ingredients
- 1 ½ shots Don Giovanni’s Limoncello
- 1 ½ shots of a good bourbon/rye whisky
- 1/2 shot Dry vermouth
- 3 dashes Convict Bitters
- Optional dash of soda water to taste
- 1 big ice cube
- Garnish: orange zest twist
Method
- Add the limoncello, whisky, dry vermouth and Convict Bitters to a cocktail shaker with ice and shake
- Strain into glass with 1 big ice cube
- Add a splash of soda water if needed
- Express and garnish with an orange zest twist
Notes
We went for 1 big ice cube and optional dash of soda water because as it melts, the flavours change from a good balance of sweetness and tartness and turns a bit sour.
